Good clutch kit, slow shipping

I ordered a clutch kit for my UTV last month during their seasonal sale. The 'UTV clutch kit' itself seems well made and the instructions were clear enough for me to install it without too much trouble. Performance is definitely better, noticed a good improvement. My only real gripe was the shipping speed; it took almost 8 days to get to me, which felt a bit long. I expected it a little quicker, especially since I paid for it right away. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product, just wish delivery was faster.

New exhaust is sweet

Got a new 'lightweight silencer' for my sled from SLP a couple weeks ago. Man, it sounds way better than stock, and I swear it feels lighter too. The website was easy to use, found what I needed fast. Didn't have any issues with ordering or anything. It showed up exactly when they said it would. Pretty happy with it, my buddies even commented on the sound when we were out riding this past weekend.

Is SLP a reputable brand for snowmobile parts? Been seeing a lot of their stuff but haven't bought from them before. Wondering if their quality is good.

Oh yeah, SLP is legit. They've been around forever in the snowmobile world. Good stuff, never had an issue with their exhausts or clutching.

Totally reputable. I've been running their silencer and clutch weights for a few seasons now on my Ski-Doo and everything's held up great. Definitely not some cheap knock-off brand.

Found a sweet exhaust system on their site, but I'm trying to figure out if I need to re-jet or mess with the fuel maps if I install it. Don't want to blow up my engine lol.

J Jennifer Diaz 2 weeks ago
For sure you'll wanna check that. Most performance exhaust systems need some kind of fuel adjustment, especially if it's a full pipe. You don't want to run too lean.

It really depends on the specific product. Some 'slip-on' silencers might be fine, but if it's a whole pipe set, you probably need to re-jet or get a fuel controller. They usually mention it in the product description or instructions too.
